I recently created an online training course for a citizen science project. The course was aimed at teaching teenagers the basic principles of citizen science, a discipline in which non-scientists contribute to data gathering for science projects—twitchers who share their observations of birds with ornithologists is a good example.

The project needed compelling visuals, so I created a mood board in the style of some of my favourite science fiction comic book artists, like Jean Giraud / Moebius and some of my original work for professional projects.

The mood board was mostly generated with Midjourney AI and perfected with Adobe Firefly. I perfected the collection using graphic design tools like InDesign and Photoshop and visual elements I created myself.
